Michael J. Coon
Prevalere Life Sciences, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael J. Coon as Manager, Business Development. Mike has over twenty one years of scientific and management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Before joining Prevalere, Mike served as Bioanalytical Laboratory Director at Eurofins-AvTech Laboratories, where he was responsible for overall laboratory activities, method development, bioanalytical sample analysis support of preclinical and clinical development projects as well as successful business development activites.
Prior to AvTech, Mike served as Research Coordinator in the Department of Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism at Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research Division of Warner-Lambert. After three years at the bench developing proprietary RIAs for compounds in development, Mike’s responsibilities shifted to overall responsibility for contracting out bioanalytical and research projects to CROs worldwide.
Mike earned his Bachelors of Science from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, with a concentration in Clinical Laboratory Science. Mike is based in Kalamazoo, MI, where he lives with his wife Darcy and their two children.
