The most frequent career opportunities occur for positions directly in the laboratory as technicians, scientists, etc. Training will be provided for the new employee to learn the required laboratory skills within a GLP/cGMP environment. Because of the nature of a contract lab and the size of Prevalere, a trained employee has the opportunity over time to grow in independence and responsibility. Prevalere performs numerous analytical functions on a wide variety of samples. Therefore, the analyst is typically provided with a diversity of technical challenges and stimulation. The lab staff may perform: sample preparation, sample extraction, wet chemistry and instrumental analysis, purity and potency assays, dosage form analysis, release testing, chemical structure analysis, immunoassay, method development and method validation.
